When using a ritual oil to dress a candle or ritual tool, use only a small amount. Keep oil away from the wick, flame and ignition source.

Allow oil to absorb or dry appropriately before lighting a candle.

9. Sprays, Mists and Fragranced Products

Sprays, mists, perfumes and fragranced products must be used according to their intended purpose.

Customers must:

• Avoid spraying toward the eyes, face or mouth
• Avoid inhaling concentrated spray
• Use in an appropriately ventilated space
• Keep away from children and animals
• Store upright and away from heat
• Follow all label instructions

Products containing ethanol, alcohol or other flammable ingredients must be kept away from flames, sparks, burning candles, incense and other ignition sources.

Do not spray a flammable product directly onto or near a flame.

Room, pillow and aura sprays must not be applied directly to skin unless expressly labelled for skin use.

10. Bath and Body Products

Bath salts, body oils and other bath or body products must be used according to their label and product description.

Customers must:

• Avoid use on broken or irritated skin
• Use only the recommended amount
• Exercise caution around slippery bath and shower surfaces
• Rinse the bath or shower after use where necessary
• Discontinue use if irritation occurs
• Keep products dry and securely closed when not in use

Ritual salts, herb blends and decorative bath products are not food and must not be eaten.

Products containing botanicals, shimmer or oils may leave residue. Customers are responsible for cleaning surfaces after use.

11. Candles and Fire Safety

Candles and any product involving flame or heat must be used responsibly.

Customers must:

• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Keep candles away from children and animals
• Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface
• Keep candles away from curtains, bedding, paper and flammable objects
• Keep candles away from draughts
• Keep the wax pool clear of debris where directed
• Follow wick-trimming and burn-time instructions
• Extinguish the candle completely before leaving
• Stop using a candle if the container becomes damaged
• Avoid moving a candle while the wax is hot or liquid

Decorative herbs, crystals, charms or other loose materials must be removed before burning where instructed.

Coven of Genesis is not responsible for loss, injury or property damage caused by leaving a candle unattended, unsafe placement, misuse or failure to follow the supplied fire-safety instructions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

12. Incense Safety

Incense must only be burned:

• In an appropriate heat-resistant incense holder
• On a stable surface
• Away from flammable materials
• Away from children and animals
• In an appropriately ventilated space
• Under continuous adult supervision

Do not directly inhale incense smoke.

People sensitive to fragrance or smoke, including people with asthma or respiratory conditions, should exercise caution or avoid burning incense.

Ash, holders and surrounding surfaces may remain hot after the flame or ember appears to be extinguished.
