Describing Your Witch Path

Describing Your Witch Path

Every witchcraft journey is personal. Some people follow a clearly defined tradition, while others combine practices from several paths or are still discovering what feels right. There is no single correct way to describe your witch path.

When ordering a personalised witchcraft product from Coven of Genesis, sharing a little about your path helps us create something that feels more meaningful and aligned with you.

Start With Your Experience Level

You can begin by telling us where you are in your journey. For example:

  • Completely new to witchcraft

  • A beginner learning the foundations

  • Practising casually or intuitively

  • An experienced practitioner

  • Returning to witchcraft after time away

  • Exploring spirituality without following a specific path

There is no need to exaggerate your experience. Beginners are always welcome, and you do not need extensive knowledge or a formal label to receive a personalised product.

Describe the Practices That Interest You

Think about the parts of witchcraft or spirituality you feel most drawn towards. These might include:

  • Crystals and crystal healing

  • Tarot or oracle cards

  • Herbal magic

  • Candle magic

  • Astrology

  • Moon rituals

  • Manifestation

  • Protection and cleansing

  • Spirit or ancestor work

  • Deity work

  • Divination

  • Kitchen witchcraft

  • Green witchcraft

  • Shadow work

  • Folk magic

  • Self-love and confidence rituals

You can include several interests or simply mention the one practice you are currently exploring.

Share Any Path, Tradition or Deity Connections

If you identify with a particular path, tradition or spiritual practice, you are welcome to include it. You might describe yourself as an eclectic witch, green witch, kitchen witch, celestial witch, pagan, Wiccan or intuitive practitioner.

If you work with a deity, spirit, ancestor or pantheon, you may also share that connection. Only include information that you are comfortable providing. You never need to disclose private spiritual experiences.

Explain What You Want to Explore

Your current focus can be just as helpful as the label you use for your path. You might want to strengthen your intuition, develop a consistent practice, learn protection work, connect with the moon or become more confident using ritual tools.

For example:

“I am a beginner interested in crystals, tarot and moon magic. I would like to learn more about protection and trusting my intuition.”

“I follow an eclectic path and work mainly with herbs, candle magic and manifestation. I am currently focusing on confidence and personal growth.”

“I am still discovering my path. I feel drawn to nature, astrology and feminine energy, but I am open to intuitive selections.”

Include Your Preferences and Boundaries

You can also tell us about colours, symbols, scents, crystals or styles you love. If there are particular spiritual themes, symbols, deities or practices you do not want included, please mention those too.

Personal preferences should be entered through the personalisation fields provided on the product page. Any allergies or sensitivities must be placed in the checkout notes so they are easy to identify when your order is prepared.

You Do Not Need the Perfect Label

Your path may change as you learn and grow. It is completely acceptable to be unsure, combine several practices or avoid labels altogether.

The purpose of describing your witch path is not to place you into a category. It simply gives us a clearer understanding of your interests, experience and spiritual direction so your personalised selection can feel more connected to you.
