Describing Your Custom Intention

Describing Your Custom Intention

An intention is the purpose, energy or desired focus behind a ritual or spiritual product. It gives direction to the ingredients, colours, crystals, botanicals and other elements selected for your order.

You do not need to know special terminology or write your intention perfectly. A clear and honest explanation of what you want to focus on is enough.

Begin With the Main Focus

Start by identifying the central theme of your intention. Common intentions include:

  • Love and attraction

  • Self-love

  • Confidence

  • Protection

  • Cleansing

  • Money and success

  • Luck

  • Spiritual growth

  • Manifestation

  • Grounding

  • Healing

  • Motivation

  • Peace and relaxation

  • Intuition

  • Dreamwork

  • Feminine energy

If more than one intention applies, try to choose a primary focus and then add one or two supporting themes.

For example, instead of listing “love, money, protection, confidence, healing and luck,” you could write:

“My main intention is confidence, supported by self-love and protection from negative energy.”

Describe What the Intention Means to You

The same intention can mean something different to every person. Confidence might mean feeling comfortable in social situations, trusting your decisions or becoming more visible in your work.

Adding a sentence about your personal goal makes your request much more meaningful.

For example:

“I want to attract new opportunities and feel more confident promoting my small business.”

“I am focusing on emotional healing, inner peace and releasing energy from a past relationship.”

“I want protection and grounding while I develop my spiritual practice.”

“I would like to invite healthy romantic love into my life while maintaining strong boundaries and self-respect.”

Focus on What You Want to Welcome

Where possible, describe the energy you want to create rather than focusing entirely on fear or what you want to avoid.

Instead of writing:

“I do not want to fail or have anything bad happen.”

You could write:

“My intention is steady success, confidence, protection and the ability to recognise helpful opportunities.”

You can still explain the situation honestly. Positive wording simply gives the intention a clearer direction.

Include Relevant Preferences

Depending on the product, you may be able to share preferences such as:

  • Favourite colours

  • Zodiac sign

  • Crystals you feel drawn towards

  • Preferred spiritual themes

  • Fragrance preferences

  • Scents you want avoided

  • Deities or symbols you work with

  • Details about your witch path

Preferences are considered where possible, but the final ingredients and design may be selected intuitively according to the intention and product.

All personalisation details should be entered through the fields on the product page. Allergies and sensitivities must be clearly written in the checkout notes.

Set Respectful and Realistic Intentions

Custom spiritual products are designed to support your personal rituals, reflection and focus. They do not guarantee a particular outcome and should not replace practical action or qualified medical, legal, financial or mental health support.

Intentions involving another person should also respect consent and personal boundaries. Rather than asking to control a specific person, consider focusing on attracting mutual, healthy and aligned love.

A Simple Template

If you are unsure what to write, use this template:

“My main intention is ____. I would like support with ____. I want to feel or welcome ____. My preferred colours, scents or spiritual themes are ____. Please avoid ____.”

Your request can be brief or detailed. What matters most is that it reflects the energy, change or experience you genuinely want to nurture.
