Five Ritual Tools for Eclipse Season

August has some of the strongest astrology of 2026, so choosing this month’s Coven Picks was actually pretty easy.

We begin the month in Leo season, bringing themes of confidence, courage, creativity and being seen. Venus moves into Libra on 6 August, Mercury enters Leo on 9 August and Mars enters Cancer on 11 August. Later in the month, the Sun moves into Virgo on 22 August, shifting the focus towards grounding, organisation, healing and looking after the smaller details of our lives.

The biggest theme, however, is eclipse season.

There is a total solar eclipse and New Moon in Leo on 12 August internationally, occurring during the early hours of 13 August here in Australia. This is followed by a partial lunar eclipse and Full Moon in Pisces on 28 August Australian time. Astrologically, the Leo eclipse is connected to identity, confidence and releasing the need for outside validation, while the Pisces eclipse brings intuition, emotional release, imagination and spiritual reflection to the surface.

With all of that happening, I wanted this month’s products to support protection, self-trust, emotional cleansing and confidence without making your rituals feel complicated.
